Egregor is an endowment fund (non-profit) that primarily provides financial and technical support to organisations tackling critical environmental and social challenges, but that lack the resources and access to high-level expertise needed to scale their solutions.
In practice, we work as your free, high-level strategic consulting partner and a co-pilot of your operations, supporting what is most needed for your solution to reach its beneficiaries, strengthen its model, and generate change at a systemic level.
Our approach is profoundly human-centered. We build equal partnerships based on trust and deliberately challenge traditional power dynamics between donors and their supported organisations. We work at your service, based on your priorities, your needs, your reality and your pace. And we are available every day for you. This is not a one-time mentorship opportunity or a space where you will be following fit-for-all workshops in a room with a hundred people. We are available for organisations on a day-to-day basis. Our support is tailored, hands-on, and built with you.
Egregor follows a venture philanthropy approach. We work with NGOs, impact start-ups, and applied research teams. We may deploy targeted funding or capital on your key workstreams, alongside our support to develop your key strategies and to execute them.
Our core team brings strong expertise, but we do not pretend to know everything. This is why we mobilise the power of the Egregor Community, a network of more than 100 senior experts across sectors and geographies, whom we engage on demand depending on your challenges.
We intentionally retain a very limited number of organisations in our portfolio to ensure deep, dedicated and hands-on support. We currently work with three organisations and expect to select up to three additional organisations through this call.
Our partnerships are built for the long term. We work with organisations for a minimum of three years, because a system-level change does not happen overnight.
At the same time, organisations must be scale-ready. We would like to see that your solution has already proven its impact, that pilots have demonstrated sustainable change, and that your organisation is now at a turning point where growth, replication, or geographic expansion is both possible and necessary. We also actively support access to funding and capital during these critical phases.
All partnerships are structured around three core pillars:
